The government spokesman for the security of the information space, Deputy Minister-Coordinator of the country’s special services warned about the risk of an increase in the number of migrants at the border Stanislav Zharyn.
Recall that, in accordance with the order Alexander Lukashenko, The right of visa-free entry to Belarus is given to citizens of 73 countries if they have tickets to the festival “Slavianski Bazaar”.
“The simplification of migration procedures may lead to an increase in the flow of people to Belarus, which Lukashenka’s services will use for a hybrid operation carried out on our eastern border”– wrote Zharyn.
He drew attention to the fact that the list of countries under the visa-free regime for Slavonic Bazaar includes the countries of the Middle East, Africa and Latin America.
The visa-free regime will operate from 4 to 23 July. It should be noted that for citizens of a number of countries, an additional condition for visa-free entry is the presence of a valid multiple-entry Schengen visa or an EU visa with a mark of entry into the territory of an EU country or the Schengen zone. These states include: Vietnam, Haiti, Gambia, Egypt, India, Indonesia, Jordan, Iran, Lebanon, Namibia, Pakistan, Samoa, South Africa.
