Human-caused global warming is increasing at a rate of more than 0.2°C per decade with greenhouse gas emissions at unprecedented levels, according to an international study.
What is meant by global warming is the rise in the temperature of the atmosphere due to the accumulation of carbon dioxide and other gases, in a manner similar to a glass panel that allows sunlight to pass through and reach the surface of the earth, where it causes a rise in temperature, according to the FAO.
The temperature of the Earth’s atmosphere is rising as a result of global warming caused by human activities caused by man, especially in the fields of industry and livestock breeding, and the heavy reliance on fossil fuels for transportation of all kinds.

“Emissions used to be increasing by maybe one part per million per year, but now they’re increasing at twice, even triple that rate,” said Arlene Andrews, chief of the carbon cycle division of the US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s Greenhouse Gas Monitoring Group.
The results of this study seem to close the door on achieving the Paris Agreement’s most ambitious target of no more than 1.5°C warming.
