The case of soldier Zhora Martirosyan, who died in the 44-day war, was assigned to Manvel Shahverdyan, judge of the court of general jurisdiction of Yerevan city. We learn about this from the “Datalex” information system.
Let us remind you that there was an incident between Ashot Pashinyan and Gayane Hakobyan (passport data Aguard Martirosyan), the mother of the fallen soldier Zhora Martirosyan, after which Pashinyan reported to the law enforcement officers.
According to the indictment, the son’s mother, Asghar Martirosyan, was accused of kidnapping Ashot Nikoli Pashinyan, the latter’s son, in connection with the state and political activities of RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
The defense claims that it cannot be classified as kidnapping.
It should be noted that on May 20, 2023, Gayane Hakobyan, the mother of soldier Zhora Martirosyan, who died in the 44-day war, was detained.
Yerevan Court of Common Jurisdiction, presided over by judge Zhora Chichoyan, made a decision to satisfy the petition of the pre-trial body and choose a one-month detention as a preventive measure against Gayane Hakobyan. The CC had petitioned to detain him for two months, but the judge decided to partially grant the petition.
