World news

As Interia has unofficially learned, Karolina Pawliczak, the vice-president of the party club, is to leave Nowa Lewica. The reason for the MP’s decision is to be the number on the list with which she would run in the upcoming parliamentary elections.

The vice-president of the New Left club, Karolina Pawliczak, was offered a candidacy from the second place on the New Left list in the Kalisz district, and this does not correspond to her aspirations, Interia learned.

“As of now, I’m not releasing any information on that,” she commented. The MP would officially announce her decision on Wednesday.

Wiesław Szczepański referred to the case, who – as determined by Interia – would start from the first place in the Kalisz district. – There is no decision of the party’s national board yet – said Szczepański. He stated that if Pawliczak left the New Left, “it wouldn’t be a surprise.”

– We’ve been expecting this for a long time. This is a velvet divorce – a person from Włodzimierz Czarzasty’s entourage told Interia.

According to unofficial information from the portal, Pawliczak could start from the Civic Platform lists.
