How to make semolina cookies – recipe

Instead of flour, semolina is used to make these cookies. However, this does not spoil the taste of the baked goods at all.

Delicious semolina cookies are an alternative to traditional flour baked goods. Tender and literally melting in your mouth, it is perfect for tea and as a treat. How to easily prepare it was described in the Cooking blog.

Semolina cookies

Ingredients:

  • eggs – 2 pcs;
  • sugar – 125 g;
  • butter – 125 g;
  • jam – 1 tbsp. l;
  • kefir – 125 ml;
  • lemon zest;
  • salt – a pinch;
  • semolina – 450 gr;
  • baking powder – 10 g;
  • powdered sugar – 200 gr.

Cooking method:

In a deep bowl, mix eggs, sugar and vegetable oil, mix everything well with a whisk until the sugar dissolves. Then add fruit jam and kefir. Beat the mixture again.

Add the zest of one lemon and a pinch of salt there, then gradually add semolina, stirring the dough. Add baking powder and mix well again.

Leave the finished dough, which will be elastic, for 10 minutes.

Form small balls from the finished dough, roll them in powdered sugar on all sides, and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment.

Place the cookies in the oven preheated to 200 degrees and bake for 15 minutes.
