Missile attacks on Ukraine - the Ukrainian Armed Forces named the reason for the increased shelling War in Ukraine news

According to the speaker of the Southern Defense Forces Natalya Gumenyuk, the main goals of the invaders at the moment are the industry and energy sector of Ukraine.

In recent days, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation have begun to attack the territory of Ukraine more often, as they have accumulated a sufficient number of missiles for this. Speaker of the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Ilya Yevlash said this during the telethon.

According to Yevlash, Russian attacks on Ukraine did not come suddenly, but now they are especially noticeable.

He noted that the Russian Armed Forces sustained a so-called tactical pause, which allowed them to accumulate a sufficient number of missiles to bombard Ukraine several times a week.

“It’s obvious that the enemy is not satisfied with the performance of our air defense. And they are looking for ways to get victories for themselves outside the front line. They don’t have convincing victories at the front, so they need (victories – ed.) in other locations,” the speaker said .

Gumenyuk noted that by carrying out targeted missile strikes on the territory of Ukraine, the occupiers, in particular, are developing routes for UAV attacks. She also reported that the enemy has increased drone reconnaissance.

Let us remind you that on March 27, Russian occupiers struck Kharkov twice: the first time at a secondary school, the second at a playground between five-story buildings. It is preliminary known that the shelling was carried out with modified UMPB D-30 ammunition.

Earlier, on March 5, the speaker of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Yuri Ignat, noted that the Russian Armed Forces are trying to find new shelling tactics. According to him, single Russian missile launches, as was recorded during the attack on the Dnieper on March 4, may indicate a shortage.
