Кинокомпания Warner Bros. Pictures представила первый трейлер сверхъестественного фильма ужасов “Наблюдатели” (The Watchers) от режиссера Ишаны Найт Шьямалан – дочери известного мастера жанра М. Найт Шьямалана (“Шестое чувство”, “Знаки”, “Таинственный лес”, “Сплит”, “Cтук в дверь”). На этот раз он выступил лишь продюсером.
В центре сюжета фильма, снятого по мотивам одноименного романа А. М. Шайна – 28-летняя художница Мина, которая оказалась в огромном лесу на западе Ирландии. Однако очень быстро убежище, которое она нашла вместе с тремя незнакомцами, превращается в ловушку. Каждую ночь за ними наблюдают и преследуют таинственные существа – их не видно, но они видят все.
The main roles in the film were played by Dakota Fanning (“Ocean’s Eight”, “Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood”, TV series “The Alienist”), Georgina Campbell (“King Arthur: Legend of the Sword”, “Barbarian”, “Bird Box: Barcelona” ), Oliver Finnegan (Outlander series) and Olwen Fuer (Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, Varyag, The Crown series).

This film marks Ishana Night Shyamalan’s feature-length directorial debut and she also wrote the screenplay for it. Previously, she worked on individual episodes of the series “Servant”, the showrunner of which was her father M. Night Shyamalan.
Filming took place in Ireland in the summer of 2023 – in the cities of Dublin and Galway, as well as Wicklow National Park.
According to the press service of Kinomania Film Distribution, the film should be released in Ukrainian on June 6, 2024.
